DJ Sotofett is a Norwegian DJ and producer known for his eclectic approach to house, techno, broken beat, and experimental electronic music. Hailing from Moss, Norway, Sotofett is the co-founder of the highly respected Sex Tags Mania label alongside his brother Fett Burger. Since the early 2000s, they have fostered a thriving DIY scene, with their labels garnering international acclaim for pushing lo-fi, genre-blurring sounds and consistently supporting underground talent.

A dedicated crate-digger and analogue enthusiast, Sotofett’s productions and DJ sets are distinctive for their adventurous blend of global influences—ranging from dub, electro, and acid, to disco and ambient. His work is characterized by raw energy, playful unpredictability, and a steadfast refusal to conform to trends. He has released music on labels such as Honest Jon’s, Versatile, and Laton, in addition to the numerous sublabels under the Sex Tags umbrella.

Widely regarded as a “DJ’s DJ,” Sotofett is celebrated for marathon sets and an encyclopedic knowledge of music, often using vinyl and live hardware to create unique, spontaneous performances.
