Born in Bucharest, Romania, she first fell in love with electronic music during the city’s early morning after-parties. Relocating to Berlin in 2017, Mariiin quickly became a familiar face at renowned clubs like Hoppetosse and Tresor. Her selections showcase an impressive knowledge of obscure records spanning house, techno, and electro, always prioritizing atmosphere and narrative over genre constraints. The careful progression of her sets draws listeners into immersive journeys, earning her invitations to play across Europe, from Sunwaves Festival to Warehouse Elementenstraat in Amsterdam.

Beyond the booth, Mariiin is a passionate record collector and curator. In 2021, she launched her own event series, Onda Sonora, aiming to promote diverse and boundary-pushing sounds.
