Maya Jane Coles is a British-Japanese DJ, music producer, and audio engineer, celebrated for her distinctive approach to house, techno, and bass music. Born in London in 1988, she began producing music as a teenager, initially experimenting with hip hop and trip hop before gravitating towards the world of underground electronic music. By her early twenties, Coles had already made a significant impact on the dance music scene, releasing early tracks and remixes that quickly gained attention for their unique blend of atmospheric, bass-heavy beats and soulful melodies.
