Maya Bouldry-Morrison, known professionally as Octo Octa, is an American DJ, producer, and label owner based in Brooklyn, New York. Emerging from the DIY and queer music scenes, she first garnered attention with her shimmering and emotive take on house music, debuting in 2011 with releases on the 100% Silk label. Octo Octa’s work is characterized by its fusion of breakbeats, lush melodies, and deep, resonant basslines, nodding to classic '90s rave culture while remaining thoroughly contemporary.

A transgender woman, Octo Octa is known for infusing her identity and personal experiences into her music, using dance music as a medium for expression and connection. Her 2017 album, *Where Are We Going?*, marked a turning point both sonically and personally, exploring themes of transformation and self-discovery.

In 2018, she co-founded the label T4T LUV NRG with her partner Eris Drew, further championing queer and trans voices in electronic music.
