Simon Dunmore is a pioneering British DJ, producer, and label executive best known as the founder of Defected Records, one of the world's most influential house music labels. Starting his career in London’s vibrant club scene during the late 1980s, Dunmore made his mark as both a DJ and an A&R talent scout, first for the Republic label and later for the legendary AM:PM label at A&M Records.
