Born and raised in Munich, Zenker Brothers—Dario and Marco Zenker—have become synonymous with innovative, groove-driven techno since forming their duo in 2009. Influenced by their early immersion in hip-hop, dub, and the city’s rich electronic scene, the brothers forged a distinct sound characterized by rolling rhythms, textured atmospheres, and percussive energy. Their collaboration catalyzed the evolution of their Ilian Tape label, founded by Dario in 2007 and co-run by both since 2010.

Ilian Tape quickly gained acclaim for championing forward-thinking artists, blending elements from dub techno, breakbeat, and classic Detroit influences while promoting a strong sense of community around their musical ethos. The Zenker Brothers’ debut album, *Immersion* (2015), showcased their refined studio craft, drawing international attention for its blend of intricate sound design and dancefloor functionality.
