Axel Boman is a renowned Swedish DJ, producer, and label owner, recognized for his distinctive blend of deep house, techno, and playful, left-field electronic music. Hailing from Stockholm, Boman first garnered international attention in 2010 with his breakthrough track “Purple Drank” released on DJ Koze’s Pampa Records, which became an instant club classic and caught the ear of tastemakers worldwide. Boman’s musical journey began in his youth, influenced by Sweden’s rich tradition of electronic and experimental music.

He studied at the Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg, where his curiosity for art and sound collided, encouraging a unique approach to production and DJing. This multifaceted perspective is evident in his work, blending quirky samples, lush melodies, and warm grooves. In 2011, Boman co-founded the label Studio Barnhus alongside Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist.
