Born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1990, David August Kremers has established himself as one of electronic music's most versatile and inventive artists. Rooted in a strong musical upbringing—he began playing piano as a child—August was influenced early by jazz, classical, and experimental forms. After discovering electronic music in his teens, he quickly integrated his diverse influences, producing a deeply emotive style that connects club culture with live instrumentation and ambitious composition.

David August's first notable releases emerged on the Hamburg-based label Diynamic, including his celebrated debut album “Times” in 2013.
