Scottish DJ and producer Denis Sulta, born Hector Barbour in Glasgow, has become a defining figure in contemporary house music. Raised in a musically-rich environment, he was influenced by his father, a former music journalist and radio producer. Sulta's early releases on local labels Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Numbers established his reputation for eclectic, energetic productions full of soulful samples and infectious grooves.
