Floorplan is the father-daughter duo comprising Robert Hood and Lyric Hood, known for their powerful blend of gospel, house, and techno. Robert Hood—regarded as one of the founding fathers of minimal techno—began Floorplan as a solo project in 1996, infusing soulful, uplifting elements into dance music while maintaining his Detroit roots. The project reached new heights after Lyric Hood, his daughter, joined in 2016, bringing fresh energy and perspective.
