Giant Swan is a dynamic UK-based electronic music duo consisting of Robin Stewart and Harry Wright. Emerging from Bristol’s vibrant underground scene, the pair began collaborating as teenagers, initially playing in noise rock bands before channeling their raw, anarchic energy into dance music. Since their inception in 2014, Giant Swan have earned a reputation for visceral, genre-defying live sets that blend techno, industrial, noise, and punk influences, captivating audiences across Europe and beyond.
Their debut self-titled album, released in 2019 on their own label KECK and the renowned imprint AD93 (formerly Whities), received critical acclaim for its unbridled experimentalism and emotional intensity. With releases on labels such as Timedance and Mannequin, the duo continues to push the boundaries of club music, maintaining a fiercely DIY ethos while routinely featuring in major festival lineups, including Unsound, Atonal, and Primavera. Giant Swan are celebrated for bridging the gap between the club and the live stage, bringing improvisation, spontaneity, and punk-infused performance to electronic dance floors.
Their sound navigates the abrasive and the ecstatic, addressing themes of catharsis, tension, and release, and securing their place as one of the most innovative acts in contemporary electronic music.
