Born and raised in Glasgow, Jasper James grew up immersed in the city’s vibrant house and techno scene, learning the craft from a young age under the guidance of his father, veteran DJ Harri. Launching his career as a resident at the renowned Sub Club, Jasper quickly established a reputation for his forward-thinking sets and technical ability. His debut release, "Sneaky," on Optimo Trax in 2014 marked him as a fresh voice in UK club music, with the record gaining heavy support from industry heavyweights.

As his international profile grew, Jasper has played headline shows and major festivals across Europe, North America, and beyond, recognized for his dynamic mixing and infectious energy behind the decks. Known for seamlessly blending deep house, techno, electro, and disco, Jasper adapts his sets to the dancefloor while maintaining a distinct, energetic style. In addition to his touring schedule, he's released well-received EPs and remixes on respected labels such as Leftroom and Hotflush, and has contributed to mix series for the likes of fabric and BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix.
