VTSS, born Martyna Maja in Warsaw, Poland, emerged from the Eastern European techno scene as a formidable force in contemporary electronic music. Known for her kinetic DJ sets and diverse productions, she first gained attention through Warsaw’s Brutaż and Berlin’s Herrensauna collectives. Her sound draws from hardcore, EBM, acid, and experimental electronics, seamlessly blending uncompromising energy with emotional nuance.

Relocating to London, VTSS quickly became a prominent figure across Europe’s clubs and festivals, performing at iconic venues such as Berghain, Boiler Room, and Unsound Festival. Her 2018 debut EP on Intrepid Skin signaled an innovative approach to techno, which evolved through further releases on labels like Repitch, VEYL, and Ninja Tune. In addition to solo projects, VTSS is one half of the duo STILL, collaborating with contemporary artists and vocalists to expand her sonic palette.

In recent years, VTSS has embraced vocal-driven productions and genre-fluid DJ sets, incorporating elements from pop, rave, and industrial.
