Kieran Hebden, known professionally as Four Tet, is a British electronic musician, producer, and DJ originally from London. Emerging in the late 1990s, Hebden was initially a guitarist for the post-rock band Fridge before adopting the Four Tet moniker to explore the boundaries of electronic music. His work is distinguished by its fusion of disparate styles, blending elements of jazz, hip-hop, folk, and ambient soundscapes.

Hebden released his debut album, *Dialogue*, in 1999, gaining attention for his innovative use of samples and intricate rhythms. His 2001 breakout album, *Pause*, and the critically acclaimed *Rounds* (2003), solidified his position as a leading figure in the folktronica and IDM scenes. Over the years, Four Tet has maintained an evolving sound, moving fluidly between experimental, club-oriented music and lush, melodic compositions.

Throughout his career, Four Tet has collaborated with artists such as Burial, Thom Yorke, and Madlib and has remixed tracks for Radiohead, Aphex Twin, and Sia, among others.
