Daphni is the electronic music project of Canadian producer, musician, and DJ Dan Snaith. Widely acclaimed for his innovative approach to dance music, Daphni’s work blends hypnotic rhythms, vivid textures, and global influences, seamlessly crossing boundaries between club culture and experimental sound. Snaith launched the Daphni alias in 2011 as an outlet distinct from his celebrated Caribou project, focusing on raw, spontaneous, and rhythm-driven productions.

Daphni’s debut album, *JIAOLONG* (2012), established his reputation as a forward-thinking force in the underground dance scene, with tracks like "Ye Ye" and "Ahora" gaining widespread DJ support. Known for sets that traverse house, techno, and Afrobeat, Daphni is a staple at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, often performing alongside notable acts or as part of b2b sets with peers such as Four Tet. In 2017, Daphni released *Joli Mai*, a collection of extended mixes and fresh tracks, further cementing his status as a master selector and producer capable of both inventive studio creations and exhilarating live experiences.
